Per reports from local sources, Russian forces have reduced the output of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, lowering the level of the Dnipro a fair amount.
Dnipryany, right below the dam, has already seen nearly a half meter drop in water levels.
This has most likely been done in order to make the deployment of pontoon bridges further downstream easier.
