Documenting the war from Ukrainian perspective with attention to the russian equipment losses
The control map from reflects the fighting we have seen in eastern Ukraine today, specifically focused around the Izyum, Popasna and Severodonetsk areas. There still does not seem to be a major breakout by Russian forces at the moment, though they may not have committed all of their available combat power in the area. The US assessed that they moved 4 additional BTGs into Ukraine in the last 24 hours, 3 of which went into the Donbas.

Video posted by the Azov Regiment of a Russian tank on fire in Mariupol (looks like a T-80BV). This is a recent video because the “V” indicates it is from one of the Pacific Fleet naval infantry brigades that were previously near Kyiv.

Ukrainian paratroopers shot down a russian helicopter with a Stinger. And when the second helicopter arrived, it was shot down by Marines. Ukrainian Armed Forces are strong, both on the ground and in the air.

It said that in total 2 Russian helicopters were downed (in Zaporizhzhia Oblast) with what appears to be a 9K310 Igla-1 MANPADS.
